Chief Financial Officer Europe

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As CFO of Maesa Europe (5 legal entities, FR, UK UAE), you will be member of Maesa Paris executive comittee, reporting to the Managing Director Europe (who's also Group CFO), you will have the unique opportunity to have a combined role, both operational and corporate. You're looking for a challenge in a group under LBO where your dedication and skills will have a direct impact on the business.

You will manage a team of 6, covering all aspects of the finance function :

  • Accounting
  • Business Control (margins per project), Inventory
  • Monthly management reporting, yearly budgeting
  • Cash Management and cash planning
  • Relations avec les banques de court terme et le factor
  • Tax (including CIR (with external advisor)
  • Oversee with external lawyer corporate legal
  • Follow litigations
  • Auditors

Senior Controller Group:

  • Monthly reporting to shareholders
  • Group consolidation
    *monthly consolidation for management reporting
    *yearly audited consolidation
  • Group Tax


PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

  • 7 years minimum experience
  • Currently CFO or working in a top 5 audit firm but with very strong business acumen

  • Readiness and willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and get down to work
  • Hands-on and entrepreneurial approach and business drive
  • Strong personality, ability to face the challenges and overcome obstacles
  • Strong capabilities to manage and grow its team in a fast pace environment
  • Able to demonstrate leadership and assertiveness in all occasions


EDUCATION:

  • 5 years in a business and management high school with a strong background in Finance
  • Fluent in French and English
